Fertiliser

Here at Royce Turf and Irrigation we specialise in all things turf, and so we also sell fertilisers for your lawn, golf and bowling greens and other turfed areas.

Most low maintenance turf will require fertilisation only two or three times a year – in the cool seasons (spring and autumn) and in early summer.
Turf that needs medium maintenance will need fertilisation additionally to the schedule above, and high maintenance turf will need to be fertilised on a precise schedule during the most active growing months (during the summer).

Scotts Landscaper Pro Range

We recommend this range because it uses a controlled release of mineral fertilisers, which provides a sustainable, healthy growth for your turf.
This means that the vital nutrients that keep a lawn healthy are released slower over a period of time instead of all at once so there are growth peaks followed by
a sudden drop off when the nutrients are no longer available.
The gradual release also encourages the turf to become more tolerant of wear and tear and encourages it to grow a better root system that is more effective taking up water, as well as more resistant to drought.

A lot of the products in this range also contain granules coated with Poly-S coated fertiliser. These granules have a dual urea coating regulate the release of nutrients.
