With the very dry conditions, we are experiencing now, we cannot emphasise enough the need for water on newly laid turf. The first few days are critical that it does not dry out and up to the 1st month the turf is at risk until it establishes its new roots.
Do not rely on the weather forecast as the showers may by-pass your garden.
